Kenton County Parks & Recreation releases details about annual Halloween Happenings

News Archive Posted on October 20, 2024

Kenton County Parks & Recreation invites you to experience a weekend of Halloween thrills and family fun at Middleton-Mills Park with two spooktacular events.

On Friday, Oct. 18, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Kenton County will host its annual Haunted Trail. Brave souls who dare to walk this quarter-mile trail will find themselves surrounded by lurking witches, creepy goblins and shadowy ghosts. Follow the lantern-lit path, and you might just make it through!

The entrance will close at 10:00 p.m., but anyone in line before that time will be able to walk the trail. At the end of the trail, survivors can sip complimentary Bat’s Blood (punch) served by our friendly Ghostesses, with hayride shuttles available to take guests back to their vehicles. Concessions will be available for purchase.

For families and younger children, join us on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., for our Kids Fun Day & Character Trail. This family-friendly event at Shelter House #2 will feature fun activities, crafts and the chance to meet friendly characters handing out sweet treats.
