[ARCHIVED] Fall Clean-Up

 Looking to clean out the house before the cold weather? Kenton County Public Works is hosting their annual Fall Clean-Up on October 3rd-5th.

Hours of Operation: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 8:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Accepted Items:

  • Appliances (Freon accepted)
  • Household trash
  • Yard waste
  • Furniture
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Car batteries
  • TV’s and electronics
  • Junk items
  • Antifreeze
  • 20 lb. or less propane tanks
  • Fibers (mixed papers)
  • Glass
  • Plastics
  • Metals
  • Car tires (8) are accepted, but after eight the fee will be $3.00 per tire.

Please tarp and strap all loads to prevent litter.

Clean-ups are intended for private Kenton County residents. Please bring proof of residency (Driver’s License with current address or your trash bill). Not intended for businesses, including side junk/construction debris removal businesses. Kenton County Public Works has the right to refuse any and all items transported to Public Works for disposal.


Hazardous material and waste will NOT be accepted. Hazardous items include, but are not limited to, liquid waste, fluorescent bulbs, shingles, concrete and any type of paint.  No junk vehicles (including boats) will be accepted.

Please bring help to unload as they are not always staffed to provide assistance. Clean-Ups are sponsored by Kenton County Fiscal Court. For further questions, contact the Kenton County Public Works Department at 859-392-1920.
