    Clean-ups are intended for Kenton County residents only. Please bring proof of residency such as a driver’s license with current address or a current trash bill. No businesses, including side junk/ construction removal businesses, are permitted. Kenton County Public Works has the right to refuse any and all items transported to Public Works for disposal.

    Walk through the picture book story "Cat's Colors" by Airlie Anderson. A series of signs include the simple story to read and playful directions to enhance the story while enjoying the outdoors! An activity packet that goes with the book will be emailed to you upon request.

  2. Take a [Yoga] Hike

    April 16, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

    Madison Pike Yoga Studio will be offering a free yoga classes on Fridays during the month of April (9, 16, 23, 30) at 10 AM at the New Kenton County Park. The classes will begin with 30 minutes of yoga followed by a 30 minute hike. Participants should bring a yoga mat and sign up at http://schedulebliss.com/madisonpikeyoga. Meet in the shelter near the parking lot for all classes. April 23 will be an Earth Day Special. Participants who help pick up litter will receive a free week of classes at Madison Pike Yoga Studio. Gloves and bags will be provided.

  4. Reforest Northern Kentucky

    April 24, 2021, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Campbell County Public Library - Newport Branch

    The annual volunteer event, Reforest NKY, will be partnering with ReNewport and splitting up into two events in 2021. The seedling giveaway, Trunk A Tree, will take place on Saturday, April 24th, 2021, from 9:00am to 11:00am in Campbell County at the Campbell County Public Library - Newport Branch (901 E 6th Street, Newport, KY 41071). Join us in the parking lot in the comfort of your own car to collect a native tree to plant in your own yard - reforesting Northern Kentucky on your own terms! A ‘Grab N Go’ educational packet will also be available. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Reforest NKY will resume on October 23rd, 2021, with planting trees alongside the I-471 North Exit 5 Ramp. More details will be announced in the Fall on the Northern Kentucky Urban and Community Forestry Council’s website and Facebook page.
