The Household Hazardous Waste Collection event was held on November 7, 2020. Residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties were invited to dispose of their household hazardous waste for free. These are the results from the event.
Total Numbers:
- 124,856 pounds of electronics
- 6,253 pounds of cleaners and aerosols
- 117,443 pounds of paint and adhesives
- 6,520 pounds of pesticides and poisons
- 5,608 pounds of batteries
- 23,17 pounds of corrosives, flammables, and fuels
- 5,935 pounds of cylinders and tanks
- 3,878 pounds of bulbs

Total collection was 293,510 pounds (147 tons) of materials that will be reused. There was a total of 309 volunteers and workers (including vendors).
