Fall Event 2016

Hi Neighbors!

As you may recall, we were hoping to plan our fall Latonia Lakes community gathering event around the lake. However, because of construction, the lake area is quite messy right now. We also don’t want to get in the way of the construction that is so important to the future of our neighborhood! So, we’ve decided to tag along as part of Oak Ridge Baptist’s Fall Festival on Sunday, October 23rd. Big thanks to the Church for letting us join in their fun! We’ll host a spot for adults to gather, meet one another, and talk together while the kiddos enjoy all of the games and candy the Festival offers. The Festival begins at 5:00 and ends with a trunk-or-treat at 7:15. We hope YOU can help us!

We’ve also invited Kenton County Police and Independence Fire to join us, though we haven’t heard from them yet.

We need some volunteers to help! Please let us know how you can assist!

One more thing – please mark your calendar for our next New Hope for Latonia Lakes Community Meeting on Thursday, October 20th at 6:30 pm. We’ll have our usual construction and safety updates as well as a guest speaker or two (still in the works).

Update 6/20/2016
Habitat would like to share that things have come together very quickly and they’ll be able to start and finish putting in foundations within 2 weeks at 485, 487 and 489 Jericho. Habitat is working to minimize disruption to folks on Clubhouse in terms of traffic and heavy equipment moving in and out. Habitat has pushed hard to get this done before the work on the roads is completed and have met with the superintendent running that project so that various construction vehicles can coexist. If you have any questions, please contact Dawn Stutz, Vice-President of Operations at Habitat, at dawn.stutz@habitatcincinnati.org. Thanks!
