Highwater Road Construction (December 2015)
Kenton County Public Services and contractor crews completed the work to repair a slide on Highwater Road.
Cruise Creek Culvert Replacements (March 21, 2016- May 31, 2016)
Kenton County Public Works worked on Cruise Creek Road from March 21, 2016 - May 31, 2016 for construction of two aluminum box culverts. The road was closed to through traffic for the entire length of the project. The culverts are located 1.27 and 1.89 miles north of KY 17. The culvert located at the 1.89 mile point was demolished and a new aluminum box culvert was assembled in its place.
Mann Road Culvert Replacement (May 30, 2016- June 30, 2016)
Starting May 30th, Kenton County Public Works will begin replacing an 84” culvert on Mann Road. This requires Public Works to close the road for two weeks while they are working on the replacement. Public Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to your commute.
UPDATE 5/31/16: Mann Road will be closed to through traffic until June 30, 2016
Rector Road Bridge Repair (Summer 2016)
One of the projects that Public Works executed this summer was on the Rector Road Bridge in Morning View. While milling Rector Road and the bridge to have it paved, crews noticed holes and gaps between the box beams in the bridge. Crews filled the structure with grout and then added a base overlay with membrane and surface. The rest of the bridge deck structure was in good condition.
Northcutt Road Culvert Replacement (February 8, 2017-March 24, 2017)
Kenton County Public Works completed a cross culvert replacement and resurfacing project on Northcutt Road.
Stephenson Road Culvert Replacement (February 2017-March 27, 2017)
Kenton County Public Works completed a cross culvert replacement and resurfacing project on Stephenson Road (off 14).
Steep Creek Road (April 24, 2017-May 15, 2017
