I have had the fortunate opportunity to have spent my entire life in Taylor Mill, Kentucky and it is where my wife Debby and I raised our family; Scott, Stephanie and Stacie. Within the past two years we have been blessed with five beautiful grandchildren with our sixth on the way this July.
Over the years, I have volunteered and coached my children in many different sports and activities. I am an active member in my church and serve on several church committees, as well as many organizations, committees, and groups for our City.
After being approached by our past Mayor of Taylor Mill to run for the City Commission in 1985, I decided at the age of 32 to run for public office. Fortunately, I was the front runner in the race and became Mayor of Taylor Mill Pro-Tem, which then at the age of 36 led me into running for Mayor. I was very fortunate to hold this position for the past 21 years.
Until December 31, 2010 I spent 35 years as an Account Manager in the Medical Field selling instrumentation, Laboratory Equipment, and supplies to the Physician market and Hospitals. Ultimately, it has been the past 21 years as Mayor that has afforded me the opportunity to come to work with Kenton County’s new Judge/Executive Steve Arlinghaus as his Deputy Judge/Executive.
I look forward to the next four years of service to the residents of Kenton County, to help improve the quality of life, improving public services, and bringing in new business to help the county improve quality of life services and programs to our residents.
