New Kenton County Tax Bills: (Click here to view Tax Bill)
Kenton County changed the Property Tax bill in 2006. The new tax bill is now a large postcard similar to the Vehicle Tax postcard used by the County Clerk. Kenton County mails out 50,000 Property Tax bills each year. By changing to a postcard the County expects a savings (estimated at $6,000) in materials and in the cost of man hours previously used preparing the bills for mailing.
As in year's past, payment options for the taxpayer include taking the bill to any Fifth Third Bank location in Northern Kentucky, mailing the payment to the Post Office Box referenced on the bill, or bringing the bill to the Sheriff's office in Covington or Independence for payment.
All of the same information is available on the new bill but a return envelope for payment is no longer provided. The tax payer will need to mail the payment in their own envelope and cut off the stub portion of the bill to include with their payment. |
