Parcel and Property Tax Research
Parcel, Owner and Property Tax Information can be acquired 3 different ways:
1) Online as 'Guest Access' (Free Service)
- Owner, parcel and assessment Information
- Go to www.kcor.org
- Click 'Guest Access'.
- Click 'PVA Real Estate Assessment'.
- Research each individual parcel by:
- Name
- Location
- PIDN
- DEED
- Subdivision
This search will provide parcel, assessment and owner name and address information. Please direct questions regarding the owner and assessment data to the PVA Office (859)392-1750.
- Property Taxes Information
- Go to www.kcor.org
- Click 'Guest Access'.
- Click 'Tax Bills'.
- Research each tax bill by:
- Owner Name
- Property Location
- Parcel ID Number
- Account Number
- Bill Number
Online 'Tax Bills' Search provides you with the following information:
- Owner Information
- Property Location
- Breakdown of property taxes amounts by entity
- Payment Amounts: Discount, Face Amount, Penalty, and fees.
- Recalculated Penalty and Interest Payment Amount given future date (user specified date.)
- Mortgage Code (M# next paid amount and paid date). Code indicator for bills paid electronically by tax service, bank or mortgage company.
Current Year Tax bills are available after October 1st of the current year.
Prior Year Tax bills are viewed by clicking on the "Previous Bill" button.
Delinquent Bills Only Search is available for subscribers to the "Clerk's Records Option" in the "Sign Up Now" screen. Payoff amounts for prior year bills are available by subscription only. Payment for prior year tax bill is handled by the County Clerk's Office (859)392-1650.
2) Tax Roll Data Export Request
Kenton County can provide assessment roll, current year and delinquent tax roll files by email and/or CD. The assessment roll is delivered to the County Clerk for tax bill generation on Sept 15th. New tax year information is generally available after October 1st, and delinquent files are available year round.
Obtaining the Assessment Roll File which contains Parcel and Current Owner Information as well as the delinquent bill file has cost charged by record count using the following:

Note: Only the entire Assessment roll or delinquent file is exported and counted. No extra filtration or other exclusion is considered.
3) Sheriff's Department Research Staff
The cost for this service is $2.00 per parcel.
The following Information can be provided:

Your request must be faxed to the Sheriff's Office at (859)431-8951.
- Mark the Fax "Attention: Taxes".
- Put your Company Name
- Company Mailing Address
- Company Telephone Number
- Company Fax Number
- Name of person requesting the information
- Clear statement of what information is to be verified: Include PIDN, owner's name, property address.
The return response will be faxed to you by the next business day. Payment for this service must be tendered to the Sheriff's Office within 7 working days. Please write a check for the entire amount of $2.00 each record payable to Kenton County Sheriff and mail it to:

Electronic Payments by Banks, Mortgage Companies and Tax Services
1) All tax services, mortgage companies and banks requesting electronic mortgage payment processing must register by calling the Kenton County Sheriff's Office at (859)392-1800.
2) Then, the tax service company must provide an electronic tax bill request for the parcels they intend to pay. The registration through the Sheriff's Office and the Tax Bill file request must be submitted through the Sheriff's Office no later than August 31st.
This tax bill request must be in the approved record layout as defined below:

3) The Sheriff's Office validates the file and provides an error list of parcels that are invalid or not found.
4) On October 1st, the new tax bills are generated and available for payment. The tax bills assigned to each tax service, bank or mortgage company are sent via mail/e-mail. The record layout of the bills are as follows:

5) The tax service, bank or mortgage company must send a payment file containing only the parcels whose tax bills are to be paid.

6) Which amount is due?
- Discount amount: if Paid Between October 1st through November 1st.
- Face amount : If Paid Between November 2nd through December 31st.
- After December 31st interest, Penalty and fees are added, please refer to http://www.kcor.org for payment amounts after December 31st.
