Visitation Guidelines

VISITATION GUIDELINES

The general public may visit inmates at Kenton County Detention Center.    The County Detention Center houses Federal, State, and County inmates.   All visitations are held on the 8th floor. Visiting hours vary and are subject to change without prior notice.  Click on the 'Visitation Schedule' link on the left for current days and times.

General Public Visiting Guidelines:

Minors are NOT allowed to visit on Wednesdays.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, or legal guardian.
All persons requesting visitation must have a valid photo identification such as:

A valid Identification Card or driver's license,
A valid school photo identification card,
U.S. Military identification card,
A valid Passport/Visa,
Alien Registration card.

Record checks may be made, if considered necessary, for the security of the inmates, employees, visitors, and the facility.

Objects are not allowed to pass through the visitation window.

Contact visits are only allowed on Class 'D' inmates.  Class D have charges relating to DUI, non-supportive parent, non-violent offense, drug charges, and generally felonies with less than a 5 year sentence.
