The Fleet Management Department is responsible for keeping all county owned vehicles and equipment in safe and proper condition. There are over two hundred and fifty pieces of equipment which includes everything from a riding lawn mower to bull dozers.

The Fleet Management Department also serves twenty six other jurisdictions, bringing the total number of vehicles to over eight hundred, which are serviced, repaired and maintained in our modern seven bay facilities.

The hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 6:30 am until 8:30 pm, and there is always a mechanic on call for after hours and weekend service and emergency calls. When the Public Works Department is working during snow or other emergencies the garage is in operation 24/7 until the situation has been downgraded.
