Julie White

Please join with me in congratulating Dispatcher Julie White on her selection as the April 2008 Employee of the Month.  Dispatcher White was nominated by Officer Robert Fultz for her willingness to go beyond the call of duty on a recent situation involving a wanted "drifter" located in Kenton County.  On the day in question Officer Fultz located a "drifter" with a known history of violence towards law enforcement.  During his investigation it was determined that the "drifter" had numerous felony warrants out of Massachusetts but the NCIC response indicated they were non-extraditable.  Dispatcher White took it upon herself to contact the proper authorities in Massachusetts who, in turn, amended the warrants to allow for extradition from Kentucky. Thanks to her efforts a dangerous wanted felon was taken off the streets of Northern Kentucky and will be returning to Massachusetts to answer for his crimes in that state.
