Captain Darrin Gilvin

Captain Darrin Gilvin has been a member of the Kenton County Police since September 9, 1991.    Captain Gilvin has a background in Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Evidence Collection, Firearms Training, and SWAT.  He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on July 2, 2002 and promoted to Captain on July 1, 2006.

Captain Gilvin is currently the Communications Manager of the Kenton County Dispatch Center, the Public Information Officers, and the ICAC (Internet Crimes against Children) Investigators.

Captain Gilvin is a life-long resident of Kenton County, a graduate of Simon Kenton High School and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University.
