Stuff Your Face for The Birds
January 31, February 28, and March 28, 2006

Kenton County Parks & Recreation and Skyline Chili (1968 Declaration Dr.) in Independence will team up to present the first of three fundraisers For The Birds on Tuesday, January 31st.  Be there any time between 5:00-8:00 pm.

These three events will help KCP&R fill the feeders at three birdfeeding man_feeding_birdsstations; one each in Banklick Woods and Middleton-Mills parks, and a third feeding station located behind the KCP&R office on Richardson Road.  These feeding station not only help supplement the diets of our winter resident wild bird population, they also provide our citizens an opportunity they may not have otherwise to view wild birds, up close and personal, from the comfort of their vehicles.

Mark your calendar!  Our other fundraising dates are February 28th and March 28th.

SkylineTime1Skyline's fundraising program works like this: a percentage of what you spend eating there on selected nights is donated to the sponsoring organization.

Just remember the last Tuesday of the month, 5:00-8:00 pm, and Skyline in Independence!  Mention "Kenton County Parks & Recreation" when you place your order.  Wear your bib!

And, you can say, "That program is For The Birds!"  Sure is!
